Anyone who wants to safely coordinate or protect airspace must first be able to reliably monitor it. Through the Bremen UAS Control Center, we consolidate data from many sources into a consistent situational picture of airspace.
What an aerial survey can do
An air situation picture clearly displays the current traffic situation in the airspace: which objects are moving where, whether they are registered, and how the situation is developing. It provides reliable tracks, automatic alerts, and historical analyses—and enables real-time, transparent decision-making.
Merging Cooperative and Non-Cooperative Objects
Value is created through integration: cooperative objects that report their status on their own, and non-cooperative objects that are detected by sensors.
ADS-L and Remote ID
Registered drones make themselves visible via Remote ID and ADS-L and can be uniquely identified.
Mode S and Transponder Signals
Signals from manned aviation (including Mode S) are integrated into the image, establishing a connection between manned and unmanned aviation.
Sensor data from the detection process
RF, radar, and optical sensors also detect objects that don't report their presence – the basis for distinguishing between legal and unknown flights. Learn more about drone detection.
From Situation Assessment to Decision-Making
A situational overview is not an end in itself. It gives rise to procedures: Who coordinates flights? Who is notified in the event of irregularities? How are issues escalated? Alerts are triggered automatically, and reports are generated at the push of a button—from plant security all the way to the municipal control center.
Integration with U-Space Services
The same situational awareness picture that enables the protection of facilities also forms the basis for coordinated drone operations in U-Space. Network identification, traffic information, and compliance monitoring access it directly. Learn more about the UAS control center & U-Space.
UTM Data Services
The control center provides specific services such as weather services, electronic visualization, and digital air situation displays – all connectable via robust interfaces. Learn more about UTM Data Services.
