Anyone who uses drones for commercial or government purposes needs the appropriate legal framework. b.r.m. IT & Aerospace guides you through the process—from obtaining individual operating permits and conducting initial risk assessments to submitting applications and establishing a sustainable flight operation. We break down complex regulations into clear and understandable steps. This way, you, too, can reap the benefits of professional drone operations. As a future U-Space Service Provider (USSP), we understand the regulatory requirements from our day-to-day experience.
Permits for Professional Drone Operations
Operating Permit & SORA
The traditional path to unmanned aviation: For operators outside the open category, an operating permit is required, based on the SORA and SORA 2.5 risk assessments. We guide you through the process, from risk assessment to approval.
LUC BVLOS
The Light UAS Operator Certificate (LUC) is the operator certificate for organizations that wish to manage their drone operations independently and on a long-term basis—particularly for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) flights. As one of the first applicants, we know exactly what it takes to obtain it. Learn more about LUC BVLOS here.
CE & C0-C6 Markings
The class designation determines the category in which a drone may be operated. We can assist you with classifying your drone into classes C0 through C6 and meeting the associated requirements. Learn more about CE and C0–C6 classifications here.
Remote Pilot Training
Every professional operation stands or falls on the quality of its qualified remote pilots. Together with our partner, the Borkum Flight School, we ensure that pilots have the right qualifications.
