From August 27 to 29, 2025, the event highlight of the northern German drone community will enter the next round: Drone Days 2025 will once again invite experts and stakeholders from business, science, politics and administration to discuss the future of unmanned aviation.
Following the successful launch in 2024, the Drone Days will be held at two locations this year: at the Hatten-UAS German Flight Center, located at Oldenburg-Hatten airfield, and for the first time at Bremen Airport in the Bremenhalle. This will not only expand the network, but also the technical focus and the opportunities for demonstrations and discussions.
Secure your place now and be part of shaping the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) of tomorrow.
Drone Days 2025 welcomes everyone who contributes to drone technology, advanced air mobility and professional exchange. Whether you are a company, research institution, public authority, BOS or start-up - take the opportunity to network, gain new impetus and contribute your own ideas.
This year you also have the opportunity to present and participate in Drone Days 2025. Please contact the "Drone Days" team. The registration deadline for participation is 11.06.2025.
We cordially invite you to come along, bring your ideas with you - and feel free to contact us directly. Harald & Markus Rossol
With friendly and active support
- The Senator for Economics, Ports and Transformation
Yesterday, Thursday 15.05.2025, the "Flybots Workshop" on the status quo and potential of commercial drone applications in Lower Saxony took place in Hanover.
Represented by Mr. Harald and Markus Rossol, b.r.m. IT & Aerospace also took part in this event. The professional exchange between national drone manufacturers and providers focused on the economic and legal framework conditions for the use of drones. Our presentation entitled "Hatten-UAS GFC" with the topics "UAS Control Center Bremen USSP" and "U-Space Service Provider", held by Mr. Markus Rossol, rounded off the package of speakers.
Various presentations showed different approaches and innovative solutions. A subsequent networking session between providers and users rounded off this great event in the best weather in Lower Saxony.
Many thanks to everyone involved for this great event.
On Friday 09.05. the "Praxisforum Digitalisierung" of the Wirtschaftsförderung Landkreis Oldenburg takes place.
All-day demonstrators will be presented by IT experts. Networking, keynotes and, of course, specialist presentations will accompany the day. Our Managing Partner, Mr. Harald Rossol, will also be one of the speakers with the topic "From unmanned aviation with drones to IT service". From data center operations to cybersecurity and IT service, from unmanned aviation to the UAS control center Bremen (USSP) to the Drone Days 2025, you can expect an exciting and informative presentation.
The 1st congress of the Powerhouse North initiative took place on October 30, 2024. The b.r.m. IT & Aerospace was particularly pleased to contribute to the networking between unmanned aviation and the challenges for the energy sector. In addition to many informative discussions and the establishment of new contacts, our Managing Director Markus Rossol was able to point out precisely this connection in a short impulse and highlight where future potential can lie. Many thanks of course to Powerhouse Nord for organizing the congress and also for the recordings of the lectures. We invite you to watch the presentation "Hatten-UAS German Flight Center" or the "Aftermovie" on the Powerhouse Nord channel:

Santa Claus and his faithful reindeer have long since completed their integration into our airspace and the children are once again waiting for his arrival.
There has also been a lot of work on integration in unmanned aviation this year and perhaps we will soon be able to make it easier for Rudolph and his buddies to work in the Christmas airspace.
As 2023 draws to a close, I would like to give you a brief review of the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) highlights that have moved us:
The AERO aviation trade fair took place in Friedrichshafen from April 19-22, 2023. With the joint stand "Specific Made in Bremen" and numerous partners, we were able to comprehensively present the capacities and activities in Bremen and northern Germany. Please take a look.
The 54th Paris Air Show took place in early summer. In close cooperation with the stakeholders of "Bremen - City of Aerospace", we were able to present the topic "U-Space Reallabor Nord-Westdeutschland und Deutsche Bucht & UAS-Leitstelle Bremen (USSP)" to a European and international audience and enjoyed the lively exchange on UTM, ATM and other topics. You can find a short insight here.
The 13th National Maritime Conference in Bremen on September 14 and 15, 2023 presented a wide range of innovations for the maritime world. Here we were able to shed extensive light on the cross-cutting topic of unmanned aviation in a maritime context. Impressions
Over the course of the year, we won the SKADRO project (Scalable Drone Communication Systems for U-Space Areas) and are currently in the middle of implementing it together with our partners from the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute and TU Berlin.Find outmore.
Back in May, we were able to test the project idea "U-Space Reallabor Nord-Westdeutschland und Deutsche Bucht & UAS-Leitstelle Bremen (USSP)" with an initial launch around our Hatten-UAS German Flight Center at Oldenburg-Hatten airfield (EDWH).
As part of a comprehensive permit, we now have 3600 km² of flying area available for BVLOS operations.(Details)
